  • Sacred Storytelling – A vivid retelling of Lakshmi’s origins, symbolism, and blessings to shape your sankalpa (inspired intention).

  • Guided Invocation – A guided invocation using mudra, mantra, pranayama to awaken and nurture inner abundance. 

  • Breathwork & Meditation – Focused breathwork and a brief meditation to ground the experience and carry devotional energy into your daily life.

  • Bonus – All participants receive a downloadable Lakshmi 40‑Day Abundance Journal—prompts and practices to help you continue calling forth Lakshmi’s generosity.

This program is part of an experiential series exploring the timeless teachings of the Divine Feminine—inspired by Awakening Shakti by Sally Kempton. Each session focuses on a goddess archetype as a gateway to personal and collective healing. Each session is a sacred invitation to awaken the goddess within and embody her wisdom for personal and collective healing.

MEET THE WISE YOGI, KAREN MCGOVERN

Karen's journey into the world of movement began at the tender age of sixteen, where her passion for physical education flourished. Following a fulfilling career in Elementary Education, she embraced her true calling and returned to instructing movement, igniting a vibrant new chapter in her life. In 2009, she launched her SilverSneaker®️ Chair Yoga classes, marking the beginning of an inspiring yoga odyssey.

As a 500-ERYT Yoga Alliance instructor and an Anusara Inspired®️ Instructor, Karen brings a wealth of expertise and a transformative approach to her teachings. She passionately leads Anusara Yoga sessions at Haywood Regional Fitness Center and The Pollinator’s Foundation, where she hosts enriching YACEP workshops tailored for continued professional development.
