The Angel Within: A Creative HeART Healing Retreat

  • The Healing Hive @ Folkmoot 112 Virginia Ave Waynesville, NC 28786 (map)

Awaken Your Inner Spirit Guide Through Art, Story & Imagination

Join us for a nurturing day of creativity, reflection, and soulful exploration as we journey inward to discover the wise, compassionate, playful, and resilient guide that lives within each of us. The Angel Within is part of our monthly HeART Healing Circle series and is offered as a special day-long creative retreat at The Healing Hive.

The program is especially welcome for: caregivers, healers, therapists, educators, helping professionals, artists, and anyone longing to reconnect with their imagination, creativity, inner wisdom, and the guiding spirit within.

Together we'll create a one-of-a-kind Angel, Spirit Guide, Goddess, Fairy, or Mystical Being—a symbolic companion that reflects your inner wisdom, resilience, imagination, and healing journey.

Beginning with a handcrafted clay face, you'll bring your creation to life using an eclectic collection of reclaimed and natural treasures—fabrics, ribbons, buttons, beads, feathers, twigs, lace, yarn, and meaningful keepsakes. Your finished piece may become a puppet, hanging figure, altar companion, or whimsical art doll—the choice is yours.

Important: To personalize your angel, you're warmly invited to bring meaningful treasures from home—small mementos, fabrics, jewelry pieces, charms, shells, handwritten notes, or other cherished objects—to weave your own story into your creation.

Throughout the retreat, we'll nourish creativity, mind, and spirit through:

  • Guided journaling prompts, mindful writing, storytelling, and reflective exploration

  • Creative prompts to awaken imagination, intuition, and inner wisdom

  • Gentle mindfulness and expressive arts practices

  • Plenty of unhurried time to create, play, reflect, and connect

Together, we'll discover that the angel, spirit guide, goddess, fairy, or mystical being we create is not something outside ourselves, but a reflection of the wisdom, courage, compassion, protection, love, and creativity that already live within us.

No artistic experience is necessary—only curiosity and an open heart.
