In honor of World Mental Health Day, and in collaboration with The Autism Society, Seek Healing, Haywood Pathways Center, and local community partners, we are coming together to invite our beautifully diverse community into a day of reflection, creativity, and belonging. This gathering warmly welcomes neurodivergent individuals, people living with mental health challenges, trauma survivors, those healing from grief or loss, caregivers, support professionals, and all who long for connection, rest, and renewal.
✨ We’ll begin with poetry and a gentle grounding flow, followed by a nature walk around the lake to gather natural treasures—leaves, flowers, twigs, feathers, and other found objects.
✨ Each participant will create a personal nature mandala as an expression of love, remembrance, or hope.
✨ At the labyrinth, we will bring our individual creations together to form a Collective Community Mandala—dedicated to those we love, those we have lost, and all who are walking their own mental health journeys.
This collaborative mandala will be our offering of compassion, remembrance, and social healing—a reminder that while each of us has our own path, together we create something greater, something whole. 🕊️
🌿 What to bring: a bottle of water, a light snack, a rain jacket, and a small bag to gather nature’s treasures.
🌸 All are welcome. Every step, every voice, and every mandala matters. For questions, contact Marga Fripp at margacfripp@gmail.com or text/call: 828-424-1398.
