World Mental Health Day: Community Walk & Healing Mandala with Autism Society

  • The Labyrinth at Lake Junaluska Chapel Drive (near the Memorial Chapel) Lake Junaluska, NC 28745 (map)

In honor of World Mental Health Day, we are partnering with the Autism Society to invite our community into a day of healing, reflection, and connection.

✨ We’ll begin with a gentle Lake Walk, gathering natural treasures—leaves, flowers, stones, and objects from nature.

✨ Each person will then create their own nature mandala, a personal blessing of love, remembrance, or hope.

✨ At the labyrinth, we will bring all the individual mandalas together to form a Collective Community Mandala—dedicated to those we love, those we have lost, and all who are walking with mental health challenges.

This mandala will be our offering of compassion, remembrance, and social healing—a reminder that while each of us has our own journey, together we form something greater, something whole. 🕊️
🌸 All are welcome—every step and every mandala matters.

The meeting point for walkers is The Labyrinth next to the Memorial Chapel. Invite a friend or bring your dog along for a happy walk. For questions, contact Marga Fripp at margacfripp@gmail.com or text/call: 828-424-1398.

Free of Charge. Donations Welcome!
